I Dry Dynamic Desiccant
I Dry Dynamic series are a line of specially designed desiccants aimed at protecting cargo during shipment by aggressively absorbing moisture from the air. In doing so, it reduces the dew point temperature (the temperature at which condensation begins to form, causing “rain” or “sweat”), keeping the cargo safe and dry.
I Dry Dynamic Desiccants have about 8 – 10 times higher absorption capacity than traditional desiccants like Silica Gel & Activated Clay. These are “Double Layer High Capacity Desiccants”, suitable for a large number of industries in order to eliminate mold, corrosion, mildew, spoilage, warping, and other harmful effects of moisture during shipments via container, rail, barge, truck, or during storage.
The active desiccant is calcium chloride mixed with modified starch, engineered to absorb moisture from the air to control humidity in a conned area. The two-layer packing constitutes of non–woven fabric and a breathable lm designed to hold the desiccant turned into gel after moisture absorption inside the packing, it has an adsorption capacity in excess of 200%.
These desiccants have an advanced formula that traps the moisture inside and converts it into a thick, no-spill gel. It has the ability to protect shipments from start to finish, through all temperature ranges and relative humidity variances, and continues to reduce the relative humidity down to levels below 40 percent RH, which decreases the dew point temperature even further.
Manufactured in India, these sachets are attractively designed in double color (impression of Tricolor, signifying MADE IN INDIA) using quality material and are absolutely safe to be used and keep with your valuable products for storage or transit, the inner and outer layers are of the same fabric which is dust, water and tear-resistant (unless someone deliberately wants to tear it off), so no threat of any leakage whatsoever.
Before launching in the market these sachets have been extensively tested in extremely humid conditions to get a sense of their performance and whether these sachets will be able to hold that much moisture, the results were better than expectations, moisture adsorption was excellent and all the layers and sides were intact.
